![]() ![]() ![]() The dialog box 'Create 3D Line' will pop up. Interpolating value is an integral part of any Survey drawing preparation process. Select the file format from the field 'Files of type', browse to the location of the file, select the files and click 'Open'. polyline arc in AutoCAD uses this measurement, shown dashed in red in Figure 1.45. The dialog box 'Select TenTable' will pop up, using which the desired file having the 2D line data can be initiated to the function 'Create 3D line'. vertices too close together or add interpolated vertices if required. The spline command in AutoCAD is used to create a smooth curve, which passes through a set of predefined points. The input 2D line can be either AutoCAD entities (arc/polyline/line/circle/clothoid) or line data in ASCII file formats (*.TIT, *.INH, *.LIN, *.LI and *.DAT). Select the line, which is to be converted to a 3D line. For more information, see Before You Create Points. Pick a line, arc, polyline: = Read from file OK. To create points along a polyline or surface contour using distance and surface elevations Select settings and create styles, layers, point groups, and description keys. Draw the newly created 3D polyline using the option 'OK - Draw'. ![]()
